Bridgeforce Law, P.C. presented on multiple hot topics affecting the financial
services industry on June, 27, 2016, in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
“In deciding how to best mark our successful first year in business
we landed on the idea of helping our clients and friends succeed by sharing
our knowledge with them,” said Mark Dabertin, Chair of Regulatory
and Compliance Practice Group, and the presenter for the symposium. “The
symposium was both a training event and a celebration of what we’ve
achieved and where we’re headed thanks to the support we’ve
received.” Bridgeforce Law invited lawyers and financial services
industry professionals along the East Coast to join them for a half day
of complimentary education.
The following topics were covered during the symposium:
- Financial Institution Corporate Governance;
- Self-Disclosure and Attorney-Client Privilege;
- Data Security; and
- Marketplace Lending.
The event was hosted at the Mendenhall Inn and Conference Center –
just miles from Bridgeforce Law’s headquarters. “When we started
the firm, our goal was to provide a unique legal services experience.
We don’t aim to be the largest law firm around. Instead, we strive
to be a very specialized firm with attorneys who have deep experience
and provide top-notch legal advice, yet they answer their own phones and
give each client a very personal and intimate experience” said Kurt
Kline, Managing Partner. “We felt that hosting the event locally
in Chester County fits our brand and is representative of who we are.”
The symposium was approved for 3 credit hours from the Pennsylvania Continuing
Legal Education Board and 3.75 CRCM credits from ICB.
